Soaring Wings is the culmination of 15 years of experience by one of Austin's most visionary Architects, Winn Wittman, and the result of over four years of work by some of the most talented craftsmen in Austin. Dozens of talented and creative individuals - metal smiths, wood workers, stonemasons, plasterers, and glass workers - came together to make Soaring Wings a reality.
The location of Soaring Wings is unrivaled in terms of desirability. The home sits on two residential lots at 202 Redbud Trail, one of the most storied streets in the heart of West Lake Hills. Within Austin proper, yet it's own city, West Lake Hills is heavily wooded, punctuated by hills and canyons, and the beautiful Wild Basin Preserve is nearby. Yet, the distance to Downtown Austin is approximately five miles. Land values in West Lake Hills have appreciated significantly in the past decade, and there is very little land left at any price. The area is also within the Eanes Independent School District known for its Recognized and Exemplary schools.
